Barbara is a strategic fundraising professional who stands out for her results-driven fundraising success, leadership and expertise. She brings strong initiative, relationship building skills and creative energy to the Lucky Plush team.

With a proven and successful track record in building, maintaining and growing donor relationships at all levels, Barbara works with individuals, families, foundations and corporate executives to secure funding and match philanthropic priorities with her donor-centered approach.

In addition to her leadership roles in the nonprofit sector, Barbara has a diverse background that includes substantial experience with various Fortune 500 clients. Her work experience consists of the management and implementation of national tour sponsorships with artists such as Tina Turner, Celine Dion and George Strait; project management for the city of Chicago’s very successful Cows on Parade exhibition; Marketing Manager at a dot com company and Trainer/Account Representative for a worldwide financial company.

She has an extensive community service history with a significant focus on the enrichment of children’s lives. Barbara proudly lends her support to the DyMynd Angels Ambassador Board and the Association of Fundraising Marketing Committee.

Barbara was raised in Indiana and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She loves exploring other parts of the world with her family and friends, but never tires of all that the city of Chicago has to offer. She lives in Chicago on the cusp of the Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods.
